Gatwick Airport - Bus
There is a frequent Airbus service, the A5, to Victoria coach station, London. The first service departs the North Terminal at 5:15 a.m., the last at 9:50 p.m. During the day there is an hourly service departing the North Terminal at 50 minutes past the hour. Departures from the South Terminal are 5 minutes later. Journey time is around 90 minutes. There are direct Speedlink bus services to Heathrow and Luton airports and services to major towns and cities in the UK.
Gatwick Airport - Taxi
Journey time to central London takes about 60 to 70 minutes and cost to central London is around £65.

Gatwick Airport - Train
A number of trains service run direct from Gatwick Airport Station into London. Gatwick Express trains run every 15 minutes from 5:20 a.m. to 12:50 a.m. and hourly overnight. Thameslink trains run through London Bridge, Blackfriars, City Thameslink, Farringdon and King's Cross. Four trains run every hour during the day.

Heathrow Airport - Taxi
There are signages for guidance in Arrival areas of each terminal for taxi ranks. Journey time to central London is around 45 to 60 minutes and fare is around £35 to £45.

Heathrow Airport - Train
Heathrow has two rail services to central London. In addition to the London Underground (The Tube) is the Heathrow Express service to London Paddington station. Heathrow Express runs every 15 minutes. The journey time is approximately 15 minutes.

Apartment Terms & Conditions 

Booking process

To confirm your booking, we will need a credit card to guarantee the apartment or where a deposit has been received for the reservation.  Your card is only to be used to confirm the booking.  You will pay for the accommodation upon arrival at the Ascott Mayfair apartment

Deposit

The deposit for a booking will be the equivalent of:

  • For bookings with a lead-time of less than 5 days, payment of the deposit guaranteed by a major credit card will be required
  • One night stay, plus VAT for any reservation of between one to six nights
  • Two night stay, plus VAT for reservation of between seven to twenty nine nights
  • Three nights stay, plus VAT for reservation of thirty nights or more

Reservations accepted by Ascott Mayfair, subject to a deposit, will be held until five days before the scheduled arrival date.  If the required deposit has not been received at least five days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the reservation will be automatically cancelled.  Ascott Mayfair reserves the right to demand a security deposit on arrival.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation is free if made at least 24 hours prior to arrival (latest 3pm UK time a day prior) in writing.

For a cancellation notified to Ascott Mayfair at any time less than 24 hours prior to the day of arrival or for a ‘no show’, Ascott Mayfair will retain or invoice an amount as follows:

  • For stays of under 7 nights, the value of one nights stay plus tax
  • For stays of between 7 nights to 29 nights, the value of two nights stay plus tax
  • For stays of more than 29 nights, the value of three nights stay plus tax
